This notice is to inform you that Springs Hill Special Utility District (Texas Water System 0940022) has applied to the Evergreen Underground Water Conservation District  for a permit to export groundwater from the District. SHSUD is seeking to produce groundwater from Well EUWCD-10257, to be located at N 29.369417° W 97.848372° 0.86 miles N of the intersection of County Road 117 and County Road 444 in Wilson County. Groundwater is to be transported via a 16 inch diameter pipeline, 6.7 miles  to Water Treatment Plant #1 (Mesa Trails Plant, TP4895), located at  211 Mesa Trail Dr.  The water will then be distributed to the Springs Hill service area primarily in Guadalupe County.

 

The application can be viewed at the EUWCD District office, located at 110 Wyoming Blvd, Pleasanton TX 78064 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on business days. Any person who intends to protest the permit application and request a contested case hearing must provide written notice of the request to the EUWCD by 5 p.m. on November 20, 2025. Written public comment must be submitted to the District in writing  by 9:00 a.m., November 21, 2025. A public hearing to receive public comment will be held  at 110 Wyoming Blvd, Pleasanton, TX, 78064 on November 21, 2025 at 9 a.m.

 

A public open house to answer questions regarding the proposed project will be hosted by Springs Hill Special Utility District on October 15, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the City of Stockdale Community Center located at 700 W Main Street, Stockdale, Texas 78160.
