Every gallon counts toward managing and protecting our groundwater. Your annual production report helps:

  • Track groundwater usage across the district
  • Protect your groundwater rights
  • Support planning during droughts
  • Ensure fair and responsible groundwater management

You still have to report. Even if you pumped zero gallons of water last year, you must report “0”.

Evergreen UWCD’s Annual Reporting

Each year, the Evergreen Underground Water Conservation District compiles and publishes an Annual Report to provide the public with a transparent summary of the District’s activities, operations, and regulatory programs. These reports include information on groundwater production, permitting, monitoring, compliance efforts, public outreach, and financial expenditures, as well as updates on the District’s progress toward reaching it’s desired future conditions (DFCs).

The Annual Report also serves as a key accountability tool for the Board of Directors and staff, helping ensure that all actions align with the District’s mission to conserve, protect, and manage groundwater resources within Atascosa, Frio, Karnes, and Wilson counties. By making these reports available, the District supports informed decision-making and maintains open communication with landowners, groundwater users, and the general public.
